I had to pass along this link to Brent Burket on Karen Kilimnik’s show at the ICA to help balance the Inquirer’s nasty coverage. I needed as many antidotes as I could find. the false note in the piece pictured is the “double sided” razor. think it should have been a single sided blade. think the lack of “authenticity” sort of damaged the “artifice”.
addendum to previous comment:
had this same conversation with the information desk guy at ICA last weekend. He said perhaps she used a double-sided blade because it’s “iconic”.
I guess it only ruins it if you notice. Lucky for me I didn’t, and even if I had, it wouldn’t have meant much to me.
