A nice story on group photo studio Project Basho is in the Philadelphia Inquirer today. Basho is one of two such studios with darkrooms and gallery space that opened almost simultaneously in Philadelphia this year. The other is Yo! Darkroom.

it’s so encouraging to see this happening in Philly…. thanks for posting this.
Philadelphia’s a big town for analog photography, so it seemed to me it was worth passing along. It is encouraging to see this kind of cooperation and networking, which is going on in a number of art fields.
there is also the lightroom (?) in northern liberties that has a pretty nice community darkroom. http://www.lightroom.org
