…but you might have missed this.

The Angler Movement Arts Center presents: The Dominatrix and the Jewish Housewife, The Girls, The Breathing.
    Written by: Miriam Dretler-Winneg
Performed by: Miriam Dretler- Winneg & Ashley Tappan
This performance, a “two women show”, ran for approximately 60 minutes.
The performance was flawless, well acted and humorous to hilarity.
The Dominatrix and the Jewish Housewife sketch was the highlight of this performance. It’s a story of a housewife who unwittingly hires a dominatrix as a motivational coach. This results in the well-paced funny interactions between the two characters.
This performance took place in a very intimate setting where every moment is up close and personal.
The art center offers a variety of classes for all ages. It is also convenient by car and public transportation.

The Rocket Cat Cafe presents: The Art Work of Brujo de la Mancha
This exhibition includes drawings, paintings and sculptures. This artist comes with a very impressive resume and the style of art from his homeland of Mexico.
It becomes obvious why many artist have developed this style as their own signature upon seeing his art.

Germ Books and Gallery presents: Paintings, Drawings and Prints by David Aronson.
You can count on Germ Books Jennifer Bates Memorial Gallery to not contain the usual suspects of art. This is what sets this gallery apart from all others on Fishtown’s Frankford Avenue Art corridor. Try it. You’ll like it.
    Peace.
