Well, I think I missed a few of the highlights. I also had to leave before the questions at the end were over, and they seemed like they were going in a rather interesting direction. So, alas, that’s also missing.

I think what interested me so much was getting a sense of the artist as a person. His work is at once hot and cool, but he himself is warm–in the best sense of the word. He’s not as hot, not as confrontational, as the work, and he’s not as cool or detached or image-conscious as some of the people he paints.
