Very interesting. And sorry I couldn't make it. I've worked on a number of juried shows from the organization side... great to hear artists talking about their experiences with them.

After people identified their voice I could clearly discern their speaking voice afterwards, just saying. Maybe I have a keen ear?

Yeah, I only mentioned it because, aside from introductions when speaking, it was tough to keep track of who was saying what - especially during back and forth. So, unlike the internet, it was sometimes thoughts without names!

I guess I disagree that faces are distracting - they’re compelling, persuasive instruments that people use as much as their voices (and words) to present arguments.

But that’s just kvetching because I couldn’t be there in the first place.

Definitely do more.

Hi Colin,
I could have done video. I chose to do just audio...faces are distracting. Not to mention, my interaction with the art community is almost entirely without faces. I plan to continue lectures/talks/discussions at little berlin, as well as, just audio. Having audio makes you listen more....because, well, that's what it is or like, when commenting on the internet, just your name and your thoughts. Thank you for your suggestion, totally warranted and totally something to take into consideration depending the nature of what's streaming.

Nice.

Okay, I listened and thought it was a great discussion. Wish I could have been there. Next time, maybe UStream it so we can see faces?

Keep up the good work.
