I believe this leads to close inspection of technique and materials that helps with one's own art. Working in this field allows for the constant daily critique of established artwork and gives a good reference point in creating a body of work. Most people who hold this position are artists, and I hope to see more shows like this in the future. Maybe a regional art handler's show?
