Mary Smull on labor, systems, and truth – next up on artblog radio podcast

Mary Smull is unusual as an artist in that she is also excellent with numbers and math. She is the bookkeeper to many local arts organizations, including artblog. Mary also has a community spirit. She is a member of Grizzly Grizzly collective, curating shows and helping to organize projects like the CSA and the upcoming Citywide festival. She has a BFA from University of the Arts and an MFA from Cranbrook Academy. In this clip from our interview on March 19, 2013, she talks about systems, like bookkeeping and compares it to the process of art-making. Listen to the entire podcast next week.
