Yvonne Lung and Dave Kyu, collaborators and 2019 Velocity Fund Awardees, give us the scoop on their project DISH: The Meal Kit. The project riffs off of Lung’s social practice project DISH which invites people, many of which are second generation immigrants, to learn and document recipes from their elder family members. DISH: The Meal Kit serves these recipes via the popular “meal kit service” model, allowing more people to learn the documented recipes. Proceeds will go towards feeding populations with food need.
