Libby and Roberta in the Metro?!!! It’s in today’s edition. Yipppeeee! A humungithumpus thanks to freelance writer Eric Sullivan, who did a great job of capturing the Philly art scene, and why we write the blog in about 500 words! Plus the pictures–us peering out of little portholes next to Sophia Wang’s installation at PIFAS–were great choices.

Libby and Roberta in Paris, well, virtually at least

Libby and Roberta are in Paris. That is, two of our collaborative paintings are on display in a wine shop window in Paris. And the paintings are pretty much autobiographical in an eliptical way…so we’re in Paris! The group show is curated by our friend, the artist and writer Matthew Rose. Photo by Ric Erickson. Check out how smart we sound on Annette Monnier’s post in Vulture Droppings, like we know what we’re even talking about. The Vulture is a product of those hip and trendy folks at Gyro Worldwide. They describe their own publication as “unusually incisive and occasionally cruel trendspotting weblog.” How they managed to write something so kind about the always sappy, often generous us is one of the mysteries of life and trend-spotting. But we’re not fighting it.
