News   This year, as you enjoy the holiday season, you can bedeck your halls with sweet and original artwork while supporting the Philly creative community. From now until December 30, the AIGA Philadelphia SPACE is putting on their Holiday Pop-Up-Shop, where you’ll be able to find everything from t-shirts, stickers, gift wrap, and, of course, prints by: Steve DeCusatis, Peter Camburn, Brigette Indelicato, Matt Cavanaugh, Kaitlyn Ryan, Kevin Kernan, Alana Seggman, Allan Espiritu, Robb Leef, Marybeth Kradel-Weitzel, Josh Carter, Thieves & Beggars, and AIGA. The SPACE Pop-Up Shop is open Thursdays 3–7 PM, Fridays & Saturdays 1–7 PM, and other times as announced, through December. News post – Andrew Jeffrey Wright’s comics come to artblog, Streetosphere Philly style, Diane Burko show & lecture, opportunities and more!

News Space 1026 co-founder and Andrew Jeffrey Wright is debuting a new line of comics on artblog beginning next week!  Look for bananazz coming soon, and in the meantime keep up with all things AJW on Twitter and Tumblr. Several Philly street artists are featured in episode 14 of Streetosphere, the French production that chronicles street art everywhere. NoseGo, Ishknits and Justin Tyner (who brought this to our collective attentions) are the artists documented. One moment that we hopefully haven’t forgotten, Ishknits’ infamous yarn-bomb bikini for Frank Rizzo, is included in the piece. News post – Day Without Art-World AIDS Day, Alex Da Corte in Dublin, opportunities and more!

News For its 23rd year, the Institute of Contemporary Art is combining the annual Day With(out) Art with World AIDS Day, December 1, 2012. This year, Philadelphia HIV/AIDS and LGBQT activist join Penn undergraduate students for a lineup of programs including ribbon-making and film screenings. The Ribbon Bee, held from 11:30 AM-1:30 PM at 118 South 36th Street, is accompanied by speakers such as artist-activists Joy Episalla and Carrie Yamaoka (who are also participants in the roundtable discussions accompanying the film screenings).
