First Friday at 319 N. 11th St.

The Collective Spaces at 319 N. 11 St. were teeming with activity last Friday night – openings at Vox, Copy Gallery, Tiger Strikes Asteroid, and a new space called ‘Progressive Sharing‘ that just opened on the 6th floor of the building. Secret Passage by Charles Hobbs, on display at Vox, is a somewhat awkwardly choreographed interactive piece.  As one approaches the opening to the exhibit a large, almost surreal twisted gate structure is immediately viewable, inhabiting the center of the room.
