This Weekend — Popcorn and Othello at Bambi!

Truth in advertising disclaimer: We juried the Bambi Biennial so we’ve got no objectivity here at all. But we really do think you’ll like this weekend activity. And we’ll see you there…

Come watch the 18-minute video of Othello this weekend, screening as part of the Bambi Biennial up at Bambi Gallery. The movie short, the brainchild of K-Fai Steele and her friends/cohorts at PIFAS is notable for its unique costuming…all performers are dressed in white cat costumes. (If you were at the opening of the Biennial last weekend maybe you saw the performers–who showed up enmasse and en costume!). The short movie will be shown continuously from noon-6 pm. Rumor has it popcorn and Arctic Splash will be available.

Also, if we can be permitted to toot our horns, below is a nice write-up of the Bambi Biennial by Veronica Scarpellino from last week’s Spirit Community Newspaper.
