This episode sponsored by Gallery Joe.

Vice President for Arts of the Knight Foundation Dennis Scholl talks about the new 3-year, $9M program to fund the arts in Philadelphia. Any individual and any organization no matter how big or small has a chance to pitch their great idea for the Philly arts scene in 150 words or less and be considered for funding. Scholl calls this “the contest,” a populist distinction from a grant application.  The goal is to fund fantastic ideas here like they have been funding in Miami for the last two years.
