Dennis Scholl on the Knight Arts Challenge for Philadelphia – now on Artblog Radio

Roberta and Libby interview Dennis Scholl in this 15-minute podcast for Artblog Radio.

This episode sponsored by Gallery Joe.

Vice President for Arts of the Knight Foundation Dennis Scholl talks about the new 3-year, $9M program to fund the arts in Philadelphia. Any individual and any organization no matter how big or small has a chance to pitch their great idea for the Philly arts scene in 150 words or less and be considered for funding. Scholl calls this “the contest,” a populist distinction from a grant application.  The goal is to fund fantastic ideas here like they have been funding in Miami for the last two years.

Dennis Scholl, VP for Arts of the Knight Foundation, speaking with us Oct. 4, in this episode of Artblog Radio.

This podcast was edited by Peter Crimmins with music by Eric Biondo. Thanks to the Knight Foundation for their support of this project.
