Witness the brilliant curatorial debut of Gerald Brown at The Clay Studio in “Funkadelic Awakening: A Futuristic Resistance.” The exhibition, featuring the work of Donté K. Hayes, Salvador Jiménez-Flores, and Jennifer Ling Datchuk, explores how these artists use their work to create resistance against expected social norms. The exhibition will be on display from June 7 – June 30, 2019. Many thanks to the staff at CultureWorks for allowing us to use their space to record this 23-minute podcast episode!
