Dialogue and Transcription
In a 7-panel comic part of the series Socialist Grocery by Oli Knowles, Sebastian is first seen checking in with a customer who is feeling a high level of “Fall Confidence” right now. Sebastian narrates “Finding everything ok? The customer responds in the panel 2, “Yes, Ma’am!” In Panel 3 the customer recognizes his pronoun pin showing “he/him”. Customer, “oh wait…” Panel 4 shows the customer awkwardly attempting to correct their oversite. The customer offers a thumbs up, “Yes He!”. Panel 5 shows Sebastian nonplussed about the “recovery attempt”. Panel 6 shows a customer wearing a Tori Amos Tour 2004 Tshirt, “In the grocery store and outdoors….People have big things to say.” The final panel has two customers conversing. Tori Amos clad customer, “Dude – I am telling you, 5 dollars is the new 3 dollars”.
