Craft, that dirty word in some art circles, has been lurking in a corridor at the Philadelphia Museum of Art for years. But with the exuberant exhibit Craft Spoken Here in the Exhibition Gallery at the Perelman Building, the Philadelphia Museum of Art has re-embraced its own origins, says Elisabeth Agro, the show’s curator. So if you were wondering about the yarn bombing on the front of the Perelman Building–hard to miss–or heard Philadelphia artists were going to be working and sharing their skills in the gallery, listen to Agro to learn more, next Monday on artblog radio. Here’s a sample from next week’s podcast.
