NEWS

ICYMI, the fabulous Pepón Osorio received a $50,000 award from U.S. Artists! We love Pepón’s projects with community members, and his recent Philadelphia project, reForm, (more here), with the community from a closed Philadelphia public school, was very moving and profound, speaking truth that needed to be heard about the trauma experienced by families whose neighborhood school closed. Another fab artist who’s also a U.S. artist awardee this year is Abigail DeVille, who showed a great installation at Marginal Utility in 2010. Congratulations, both! Read about DeVille’s 2010 installation, Gold Mountain, here.
