Beginning with "well there was clearly nothing we could have done," the two hold their palm of their hands upwards, shrugging their shoulders, reiterating how nothing could've been done. By the end, a third man says "let's do something!" to which the other two say "we'd love to but we've got all these hands!" The final panel shows the man and woman shrugging, surrounded by multiples of their exaggerated upturned palms.
