In a 6-panel comic from the Socialist Grocery series by Oli Knowles, Sebastian explains that they like to show their partner, Maggie the daily posts from a Philly vegan donut shop, Dotties. In the top left panel Sebastian is shown holding the phone to Maggie's sight saying, "Look, here's the 'Dottie's' Donuts chef special today. So cute." In the top right panel, Maggie is shown looking at Sebastian's phone bearing an image of a donut with a lemon square on it. Maggie in response to it's cuteness relates, "No it's not. Not cute- sorry. Its silly." The half panel below the top right shows Sebastian on the left questioning, "Why?" and Maggie on the right explaining, "It's an entire lemon square ontop of a donut!" The middle left panel shows Sebastian and Maggie sitting on a bed near a window, Maggie's are is extended out. Maggie says, "You cannot possibly eat that. You can't fit that in you're mouth. It'll get everywhere. You can't bite it. It's always something like that." The half panel on the top middle section shows a perplexed Maggie continuing, "Like a whole whoopie pie on a donut, or a whole cupcake." The next speech bubble says. "What's next? A whole rotisserie chicken? A dixie cup with coffee in it?" The half panel on the lower middle section displays Maggie's hands gesturing palms toward one another. Maggie continues, "A bag of fruit gushers? A pool of fettuccine alfredo?? What?!" The bottom panel has Sebastian and Maggie on a bed with a cat in the foreground. Sebastian on the left says, "You know those are just specialty donuts. Right? They make regular donuts, too." Maggie admits, "Oh, well... Then I guess Dottie's is fine."
