Panel 1: We see Sebastian sitting on a stool and mask off. “Well, I have unfortunate news. This is the last socialist grocery. The cool part, though, is that for the next five panels, I’ve been told I can say whatever I want.” Panel 2: “Therefore, I guess I want to give a word of warning for anyone who has or, will read this comic. It could read as antagonistic.” Panel 3: “And, of course beyond that, the biggest problem is the antagonisms between classes that are irreconcilable.” Panel 4: “When we’re divided, and don’t have class solidarity, we think each other are the problem.” Panel 5: “Marx talks about how ‘Alienation’ is ‘the transformation of people’s own labor into a power, which rules them as if a kind of natural or supra-human law.’ The worse our conditions become, the more we need to build collective power. Collective power that transcends the confines of the grocery store.” Panel 6: “Grocery clerks, middle-managers, the people who drive the delivery truck, the warehouse workers, the farmers, the peco workers, the pest control guy, everyone who makes this store run has intrinsically connected conditions, and that is the note I’ll leave on.”
