Friend of Artblog, Ann Northrup wrote to say “One World,” her massive 50 ft. by 40 ft. hand-painted mural at Independence Charter School is lost, since the school is building a gym/auditorium in front of it. The plan is to digitize the mural at scale with a “super-duper panoramic photo of it,” by Maine photographer Aaron Priest, that can be printed actual size at 180 dpi with the 257 photos he took stitched together into a 6.7 GB file. Once printed it will be installed inside the school’s new gym at 1600 Lombard St. More about the artist here.
