Philly local Judith Schaechter just emailed us with some great news. She’s been awarded a Guggenheim Fellowship. She’s one of 186 new fellows to receive awards totaling $7,112,000. Here’s more info.

btw, we knew no one else on the list except L.A.-based video artist Diana Thater, whose work we’ve seen at Dia several years ago (P.A., i.e. pre-Artblog).
