The day after I got my Matthew Ritchie playing card (far left), I went to New York for the day to celebrate my son’s birthday. That’s when I noticed the resemblance between Ritchie’s small, gray fantasy figure in the center of the card and the array of even smaller gray and black athletes on the back of the New York Metro Card (near left).
