Beyond the Gilbert Building


This just in, sandwiched in the middle of a fundraising letter from Asian Arts Initiative:

We recently received a grant award from the William Penn Foundation to work with the non-profit developer Artspace to help the Asian Arts Initiative and fellow tenants of the Gilbert Building (which include arts organizations and individual artists) identify and design a new home for as many of the current building occupants as possible.

Anyway, that’s one of the reasons they need money. The new space will cost them–and I guess it will cost everyone else who’s involved.
