Cascarones, AIDS, us

sponsored

Our cascarones donation this year is all about the internet–and us as usual. Like who didn’t know that our lives these days are all about the internet? Here’s one of my pictures of Roberta and my eggs, hot off the presses. You can find my pictures at full size here (libby’s) and roberta’s set here (roberta’s).

The cascarones–an Easter tradition that involves smashing the confetti-filled eggs on people’s heads–are for an auction organized by Marta Sanchez each year for Cascarones Por La Vida, an organization she created to assist young people with AIDS. This year’s auction will be at Fleisher Art Memorial, Sunday, April 9, 2-5 p.m.

Find more information about the organization, the cascarones and the event here.
