I just put up a post on Monday about all the lively goings on that involve Philadelphia artists all over the planet! Now here’s a few more notices that came in to the groaning inbox and I pass them on with a big thumbs up. If you’re anywhere near, be sure to check these shows out.

About Survival (detail)
24″x16″ 6 color silkscreen print. Edition of 30.

Price, who is a Space 1026er, will be “showing a collection of brand new screen
prints and mono prints with 4 other artists… 2 are print makers from
Montreal, 1 from the Netherlands, and 1 from Brooklyn,” he said in an email. Price is an artist Libby and I first spotted when he was selling his wares on a 2nd Street sidewalk on a First Friday a couple years ago. He’s really connected now and the work — always good — gets better each time I see it.

All for now. This fall the art scene is phenomenally fertile. Get out there and take a look.
