Not that this is a surprise but Van Gogh at the Met and Memling at the Frick are both excellent. Definitely check them both out (image, Hans Memling’s “Portrait of a Young Man”).
The occult photography show at the Met was fun too. You get a little tired of seeing the word “ectoplasm” but it’s definitely entertaining.
